In compliance with safety rules meets the technical, regulatory and human requirements involved in shipping hazardous goods (Oil and Gas), we apply safety procedures SSSCL (Ship Shore Safety Check-list), SOLAS, ISGOTT during the supervision.

Supervision of loading and unloading of hazardous cargo transported by tankers during port call.

TSOs during Port Call

Our officers responsible to ensure safety on board during supervision of loading and/or unloading are called Terminal Safety Officers (TSOs). They have a good knowledge of maritime and shipping terminology and take their responsibilities required by ship-shore safety agreements.
They could come at any time on board, apply safety rules and check facilities values (pressure, temperature, flow rate, level).
TSO regularly and thoroughly check all items on the SSSCL in order to ensuring you the highest level of safety.

Our TSOs are able to rectified mistakes of small incidence such as cargo hose out of position, scuppers plugs not in place or not fully tight, leakage. They also have the full power to stop cargo operation in case of non respect of safety rules until the control back with their assistance.
